Which materials can be used?

Silica gel, activated alumina, and molecular sieves are not interchangeable. Activated carbon serves a slightly different scope of application, primarily used for capturing specific contaminants, organic compounds, VOCs, and odors.
When media replacement is all you need
If the system is designed to be refilled, the adsorbent material can be managed as a true maintenance consumable.
The media is removed and replaced during scheduled system maintenance without needing to replace the entire filter housing or equipment body.
Required quantities can vary significantly depending on the system and intervention scale: from a few kilograms for a single refill to larger volumes for multiple interventions, filter production, or stock management.
